All in a day's work for the Most Equal Comrade

Cutting a bad deal with an adversary who views the MEC with contempt?  Check.  Crippling post-America's energy security?  Check.  Distracting the cattle-masses from actual pressing issues?  Check?  Doing all of the above without so much as consulting Congress? Check.

The MEC was in classic form in Beijing today:

President Barack Obama announced Wednesday that the U.S. has set a new goal to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases by between 26 percent and 28 percent over the next 11 years as part of a climate change agreement with China.
The new target is a drastic increase from earlier in Obama's presidency, when he pledged to cut emissions by 17 percent by 2020. By contrast, Obama's counterpart, Xi Jinping, did not pledge any reductions by a specific date, but rather set a target for China's emissions to peak by 2030, or earlier if possible. Xi also pledged to increase the share of energy that China will derive from sources other than fossil fuels. China's emissions have grown in recent years due to the building of new coal plants.
"This is a major milestone in the U.S.-China relationship," Obama told a news conference in Beijing, with Xi at his side. "It shows what's possible when we work together on an urgent global challenge."
The Associated Press reported that the deal was the result of months of secret discussions between U.S. and Chinese officials.

It's going to keep going like this, people, until we do what it will take to stop him.

  1. Oh he's stopped. He has just run the stop light . This and other violations will be prosecuted. He has been caught on traffic camera. He is going to have his driving priveleges suspended.

  2. He can't be impeached, only blocked. Like this seceet deal with China will never move forward without Congressional approval. He won in 2012 under such false pretenses.

  3. What, him worry? He already knows from Bill Clinton that he wI'll get richer and richer out of office. He knows he will die more revered than Nelson Mandella, but likely less than Bob Marley. One thing I'd fear from your camp is Hillie successfully arguing that things were great under her husband (well, maybe at least one of his trollops might have thought so too) and that sans lies, she would be President now, wrapping up the most golden of eras.
