So the House has voted to approve the Keystone XL pipeline, and the Senate will vote next week, and Senator Landrieu will be the embodiment of gallantry and deep concern for the employment picture in her state.
She's not doing anything for the cause of unity in her party, however, given that the Most Equal Comrade has freshly vowed to veto it. And the greenie base is glad about that.
But maybe she's just trying to establish a record as an energy champion on her way out the door. And she is on her way out the door: Bill Cassidy is up by 16 points.
