Talk about folly:
Iranian officialsreiterated their belief that America is “still the great Satan” as they urged people to attend massive rallies on November 4 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the 1979 takeover of the U.S. embassy in Tehran, which in Iran is called the “National Day against the Global Arrogance”.Of all the destructive moves by this regime - strangling the coal industry via unconstitutional EPA edicts, granting amnesty to illegal aliens via unconstitutional executive order, Freedom-Hater-care, taking a lackadaisical approach to Sunni jihad, demonstrating a willingness to be Putin's bitch - this has the biggest potential for horror. It's already heaped humiliation upon us.On Sunday, the Iranian Defense Ministry issued a statement saying: “In compliance with the will of the late Imam Khomeini and the wise guidelines of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei], the Iranian nation still sees the U.S. as the number one enemy of the Islamic Revolution."The Iranian nation does not allow the arrogant front and the enemies of the Islamic Republic to make any [hostile] move by maintaining its unity, national integrity and empathy as well as supporting active, wise and revolutionary diplomacy, and it will give a hard and repenting lesson to them in case they [Iran’s enemies] make any miscalculations," the statement threatened. It went on to condemn the economic sanctions imposed by the U.S. and call for “the prosecution, trial and punishment of the White House leaders for their crimes against Iran in the nuclear talks over the past decades.”A similar statement was made by the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC):"The U.S. is still the great Satan and the number one enemy of the [Islamic] revolution and the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation.”
