An official from Estonia's counterintelligence / internal security agency has been abducted at the Russian border and is in Russian custody.
Clearly, more details will shed more light on just how and why this occurred, but it's damn provocative. Estonian president Toomas Hendrik considers it a "major incident."
It occurs as the NATO summit in Wales concludes, and just days after the Most Equal Comrade stopped in Estonia on his way to the summit, vowing that NATO would defend the Baltic states.
Looks like the fruits of reset an greater flexibility to moi.
What's to reset? It's not our country. Let them reset things if they want to and do not let them draw us in to a wider war. That can be said about the entirety of international politics and geopolitical unrest. Screw this world leadership thing. The people in these countries need to work it out for themselves. And put on their big boy pants like you are always telling us to do stateside which basically means go kick world ass for Israel, if not oil.
ReplyDeleteI guess you don't care if you live in a state of anarchy and barbarism from which even your front door doesn't keep you safe. You see, you and I are somewhat spoiled by having grown up in an age of relative stability. That's all ending now, and it's because the MEC wanted to bring the age of Pax Americana to an end.
