Make 'em prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt

Sheryl Atkisson offers a detailed list of documentation that she says the House Ways and Means Committee ought to demand from the IRS, but her list really boils down to one demand:  Prove to us that there really was a hard-drive crash and that it means all those e-mails are irretrievably lost.

  1. Reminiscent of the Rosemary Wood gaps in the Nixon tapes. This is an outrage and likely not true. We have become a nation of lawyers, not men. There may be a law, but only if you get caught--the most grievous offense.

  2. But these people have been caught. We're now at the point where the law is whatever our overlords say it is.

  3. I meant that they have not been caught intentionally destroying the evidence. I know what you are saying, from the Executive Office, through the Justice Department on down in this lawyer-ridden administration the law is ignored at their leisure. These legal games play out daily all across the country and it is obvious that some of the top "players" are pulling strings and deviously driving their own agenda.
