The FBI, a grand jury, and the US Justice Department all found that officer Darren Wilson shot Brown in self-defense.5 years ago Michael Brown was murdered by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. Michael was unarmed yet he was shot 6 times. I stand with activists and organizers who continue the fight for justice for Michael. We must confront systemic racism and police violence head on.
Brown, who had robbed a convenience store minutes earlier, was walking in a busy thoroughfare when Wilson pulled alongside him and asked him to move up onto the median. Brown charged Wilson, reaching inside his patrol car to grab his gun. In the ensuing struggle, Brown was shot and started fleeing. Brown and Wilson were facing each other when Wilson shot Brown again.
Warren just unequivocally disqualified herself from being president. In fact, she should resign from the Senate and go away for some serious self-reflection. She has a big-time moral sickness to heal.
