Whatever happened to intellectual freedom? Always thought that was a lefty idea.
ReplyDeleteOld Catholic colleges used to fire profs like Abbate I'm a heartbeat, not those I'm opposition.Maybe it is indeed so very late in the damned day.
ReplyDelete"Intellectual freedom" is a rather imprecise, elastic term. Consider the current state of post-American "culture," where we indulge such nonsense as transgenderism, subsidized solar energy, and moral equivalence between Western values and those of Islam.
