Pete Sessions - that's Pete, not Jeff - is poison for America

What a steaming chunk of dog vomit.  Forthrightly calls for total amnesty for illegal aliens:

House Speaker John Boehner’s top committee chairman says he wants an immigration bill that would allow millions of foreign migrants to stay and work jobs sought by Americans.
“I’m going to use my assets and resources in the new year to work with this Congress… to have a well-understood agreement about what the law should be, and how we as communities, and farm communities, and tech communities, create circumstances where we can have people be in this country and work, and where not one person is quote ‘thrown out’ or ‘deported,’” Rep. Pete Sessions, the chairman of the powerful House rules committee, told a group of Democratic legislators.
The committee has the power to kill or boost members’ bills because it decides how each bill will be considered in floor votes.
Sessions’ promise of de-facto amnesty to Democrats was welcomed by Chicago Rep. Luis Gutierrez, who frequently describes unauthorized migrants as members of his community.
“My heart was filled with a lot of joy when you said that people who are working here, who don’t present a danger, basically should be set aside, that those aren’t the people we should be going after,” said Gutierrez, four hours and 16 minutes into the hearing.

Got that? the m----------- filled Gutierrez's heart with joy.

It makes my guts seize up to admit it, but Erick Erickson is correct:

Boehner, McConnell, et al have concluded that the problem is not government, but Democrats in charge of government. They think they can be better technocrats. They think they can feed the leviathan without the leviathan consuming them. Like Democratic technocrats such as John Gruber, the Republican technocrats also find you to be a meddlesome, burdensome lot of stupidity.
Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)N/A hates your guts, people. You are neither a lobbyist nor a cigarette so you have no use to him except on one day in November every other year.
But what is so striking here is how many Republicans were willing to lie to you, tell you they would stop the President, and now are giving you the middle finger. Boehner. You, just like Obama’s actions, were a means to an end. And while the GOP may not like the means, they like the ends. They are now in power and Barack Obama gets his amnesty.

All the same, I called Boehner's office - along with those of the whip and the majority leader - to let them know where I stood.

Damn it, the task is every bit as herculean as it was before the election.

  1. We all know illegals would not be here if da man hadn't paid them while we looked the other way for decades. Let's round all da men and prosecute and jail them too while we're at it. Debates are not won by calling those who disagree with you what you call them. Cute dig at Boehners open and obvious fuxk you to the freedom haters who do not want us smoking.
