Michelle doesn't waste time on idle chatter

Carpe diem, Congresswoman!

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R., Minn.) knew the White House Christmas party this week would be her last chance as a member of Congress to speak directly to President Obama. She didn’t waste the opportunity.
Despite the objections of her family members, who didn’t want to be embarrassed, Bachmann said she wanted to give some “substantive comments” to the president. She waited until pictures were taken and her family walked off the stage.
“I turned to the president and I said, something to the effect of, ‘Mr. President, you need to bomb the Iranian nuclear facilities, because if you don’t, Iran will have a nuclear weapon on your watch and the course of world history will change,’” she told the Washington Free Beacon.
“And he got his condescending smile on his face and laughed at me and said, ‘Well Michele, it’s just not that easy.’ And I said to him, ‘No, Mr. President, you’re the president, it will happen on your watch, and you’ll have to answer to the world for this.’ And that was it and then I left. Merry Christmas,” she said with a laugh.

A clear understanding of the number-one existential threat among the existential threats we face.

  1. He knows she hates him. What would you do if someone who hates you confronts you like that? In very poor taste, in my humble and worthless opinion, to anyone but myself.

  2. I know it is not your opinion, but many among us think she is a real bitch, perhaps even a lyin' ass bitch, something your ilk might describe Hillie as. Watch more here at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqeVjopXLWI Jimmy Fallon Show Band Plays 'Lyin' Ass Bitch' To Intro Michele Bachmann.

  3. Yes, it is very disrespectful, insulting, even, especially since she is clueless. Evidence of it being late in the day, of course. How has this rap crap hung on so long?

  4. What does she lie about? She looks to me to be a genuine Christian, patriot and advocate of economic freedom.

  5. I dunno, never paid much attention to her. Still don't.

  6. When she decided to run for president, her staff included campaign consultants Keith Nahigian and Brett O’Donnell, two nominal Christians who proceeded to run her campaign finances into the ground. They passed themselves off to Bachmann as fellow evangelicals and she passed off the day-to-day operations of her campaign to them. That would prove to be her undoing. Not only did they steal her blind, they mismanaged her campaign so badly, turning her into a diva creature that was so unlike the woman they had come to know, that her evangelical base deserted her in exasperation.

There are a few other tidbits of interest: her firing of a staff member with seven children and one on the way on Christmas Eve. Her poor response to her constituents. Her shady financial arrangements, including using campaign resources to sell her book. Her decision not to run for Congress again, of which the authors say:

No one except the most inbred voter in Stearns County believed her when she said her decision had nothing to do with her ethical and legal woes.
