Going on record with a measure to thwart the Most Equal Comrade's executive overreach

That's what the House did last night by passing the "Cruz amendment," which reiterates the unconstitutionality of the MEC's determination to grant amnesty to thousands in the current wave of illegal aliens.

Such legislation shouldn’t be necessary, obviously, and the bill will never get a hearing in the Senate, where Harry Reid backs Barack Obama’s unconstitutional usurpations. But the bill helps to clarify the border issues that the nation faces, and it places the Democratic Party on the wrong side of the issue.

Apparently not all members of that chamber were persuaded by the ridiculous and venomous rhetoric of the likes of Gutierrez, Cardenas ("strip away the rights of a child to live"), Hoyer, and Pelosi.
