Phyllis Schlafly, RIP

Very late in her life, she developed an unfortunate enthusiasm for Donald Trump, but other than that, she was an impeccably go-to source for full-throated, three-pillared conservatism. She knew that God was God, male was male, female was female, the United States was a unique blessing to humankind, and that enemies to freedom and God's law abound and that one must therefore always be vigilant and ready to fight.

She never tailored her message to the times.

She just spoke for what is always, everywhere, without variation, good, true and right.
