The jackboots get more aggressive in push to destroy the family and human nature

Not to mention the Constitution.  Where the hell in Mr. Madison's document can the power to get involved in this be found?

President Barack Obama, through a statement posted Wednesday night on the White House website by adviser Valerie Jarrett, backed legislation that would ban parents from having their children counseled not to be what Jarrett called "LGBTQ+".
“As part of our dedication to protecting America’s youth, this Administration supports efforts to ban the use of conversion therapy for minors,” Jarrett said in the White House statement.
“Conversion therapy generally refers to any practices by mental health providers that seek to change an individual’s sexual orientation or gender identity,” said the statement. “Often, this practice is used on minors, who lack the legal authority to make their own medical and mental health decisions. We share your concern about its potentially devastating effects on the lives of transgender as well as gay, lesbian, bisexual, and queer youth.”
Jarrett conceded in her statement that an act of Congress would be needed to pass a national law that prohibited parents from having their children be counselled to be heterosexual rather than what she called “LGBTQ+."
“While a national ban would require congressional action, we are hopeful that the clarity of the evidence combined with the actions taken by these states will lead to broader action that this Administration would support,” Jarrett said.
She suggested that parents disserve their children when they do not accept them as “LGTQ+.”

And after bullying Congress to enact such a ban, the next step is to enact a law that requires parents to get their confused children's crotches carved up.

The war for America's soul shows no signs of abating.

  1. Forgiveness is in order for what we know not what we do here Yet. But science is getting there towards proving if anybody is confused it's our Maker who made us this way. Cling to your Paul realizing that, 2000 years ago he could not have possibly begun to know it all.

  2. Nuns used to take it upon themselves to make a lefty right.

  3. Take masturbation, aka the grave and mortal (deadly) sin of self-abuse. It used to be considered a pyscho (sexual?) disorder deserving of a shrink Now the doctor prescribes it for prostate health. You mean not doing it could mean death? What a funny God. Go figure?

  4. So that means the federal government should get involved in whether families get help for kids with weird notions about their gender?

You don't really believe that, and you know it.

  5. But it is a little more than weird notions about gender. Anyhow, I'm certainly not one to cede any power of my personhood nor that of any minor children in my care over to any governmental body. Still, I am not allowed to abuse my children either and this can constitute abuse every bit as much as forcing a leftie to become a rightie, at least as it is viewed today. For that treatment to work I would think that, like anything else, the "patient" has to want to be "healed."

  6. America's soul ain't worth much if you cannot be yourself. You know one nation under God with liberty and justice for heterosexuals only.

  7. I guess it was around the time you conservatives say we entered the post-American decline in the 60s that gays started taking a stand for their own freedom to "be" and proudly admitting who they "are" resisting discrimination and ill-treatment. I don't think that train is coming back down the same track again. For shame or for glory? They can even kill and die in battle now, side by side with other Americans.

  8. Your last comment is spot-on. About the time we indulged people's narcissism to the degree that they could insist that society legitimize their abnormalities, several other signs of decline coincided.

A kid who tells mom and dad, "I think I feel more like the other gender" needs to see a competent therapist, pronto.

  9. Now you are talking about something else entirely. I think they call it transsexualism. Homosexuality is same sex attraction and consummation of that urge. The percentage who even dress in drag is relatively small. Actually, the percentage of occurrence of homosexuality is likely no more than 5 %. Kinsey estimated around 10% of men have engaged in homosexual acts at least once in their lives. And it has nothing to do with feeling more like the other gender.

  10. Being anti-gay is not real big these days. Do you suppose that is reflective of society? This is a democracy you know. Read more at http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/12/us/the-case-against-gay-marriage-top-law-firms-wont-touch-it.html?ref=todayspaper&_r=0

  11. But of course, since it is anathema to you and your ilk, it's reflective of society's decline. But then again, so is statecraft. If certain Israeli leaders do not get their way.

  12. But if we do invade Iran at the behest of another crazed power hungry world leader I'd say we're still as screwed up as ever. Now for the end of that folly called the War on Drugs. I know, I know, he's frightened.

  13. I'm not talking about something else entirely. How many years - maybe it was months - did it take to get the "B" added to the L&G? And how do you know if your bi unless you're promiscuous? And then what are you going to do about long-term relationships? Give up your attraction one way or the other or insist that your "partners" both same- and other-gender agree to open relationships? And then how long did it take to get the "T" affixed to it? And then the "Q"?

  14. I got enough trouble screwing up my own life, though I mean well, lol.
