In a meeting with members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Thursday, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei encouraged the terrorist group to stockpile weapons and vowed that Iran would ramp up its support for them in anticipation of a new war with Israel.“Fighting the Zionist regime is a war of destiny,” Khamenei declared following the meeting, in which he urged Palestinians to "intensify" their fight against Israel and promised to continue to arm terrorists in Gaza and the West Bank.“The resistance movements in Palestine should boost their preparedness day by day and reinforce their power resources inside Gaza,” Khamenei said, encouraging all terrorists groups in the region to prepare for another war. The recent conflict in Gaza, he said, was the start of the “divine promise” of destroying Israel.Khamenei also stressed the importance of supporting terrorists in the West Bank, to whom Iran had increased arm shipments, saying, “The enemy should feel the same worries in the West Bank as it does in Gaza."
