You're by God gonna be tolerant and accepting of everyone and everything whether it violates your core principles or not

That's the message of the Super Bowl Coca-Cola commercial in which "America the Beautiful" is sung in a number of languages by a number of people including a homosexual couple.

You can't get away from it anywhere.  You'll find it in Sochi, where activists for unconventional sexuality have in effect goaded reactionary mobs to cause trouble.  You see it in New York, where de Blasio nixes participation in the upcoming St. Patrick's Day parade over the banning of homosexual participants.  You see it statewide here in Indiana where the activists have couched the debate over HJR3 in binary terms that will not be disputed - you either oppose this amendment to the state constitution that was necessary to craft in anticipation of activist judges striking down current statutes addressing the definition of marriage, or you'r a hater.

One sees it locally, where the citywide "welcoming community initiative," presented with such smiley-face ebullience, is obviously predicated on a presumption that without such a push, everyone would lapse into close-mindedness and maybe even bigotry.

It's speech control and even thought control by stealth.  As David Mamet and others have pointed out, culture is upstream from politics.  All it took was a few nudges from influential institutions in media, education, the arts and entertainment, and even the "religious" community, and certain basic precepts taken for granted a mere fifty years ago became the stuff of "dangerous extremism."

Stay sharp. Be ready to defend what you know is right, true and good, and defend it effectively.  You can't bring anything but your A game to the war for America's soul.
