A race-baiting group in Portland, Oregon kicked up a community-organizer-style fuss and successfully caused the Trader Joe's grocery chain to drop plans to put a store in a predominantly black neighborhood. Explicitly said their reason was that it would attract too many whites.
Suppose some white people objected to the opening of a Church's Fried Chicken restaurant in their neighborhood, because it might attract too many black people. Just how would that go over?
