They brought the culture war to us, not the other way around

To anyone who is still using the phrase "our friends on the Left," knock it off.  It has no place in the current cultural climate.

Ask New York Governor Cuomo, who says those who oppose the extermination of fetal Americans have no place in his state.

Ask Maria Conchita Alonso, who was let go from her latest acting gig for endorsing Tea Party California gubernatorial candidate Tim Donnelly.

Ask actress Tamera Mowry, who has endured all manner of degrading slurs and accusations that she's not authentically black becuase she's married to a white Fox News reporter.

They will not tolerate us.  They are our enemies.

  1. Your enemies? Then He said you must love them and forgive them. There are no obvious miracles there, no incarnation, no resurrection, except for the one man-God you do believe in per some of your posts who came here to do just that for us all. That is where the Christian rubber hits the road, right?

  2. Yes. Christians must be unafraid to assert their faith anywhere and everywhere and uphold every tenet of their doctrine in any situation.

  3. If you want to understand the Christian faith, its good and its bad, its generosity and its harshness, its love and its rigidity you should read the full Sermon carefully and be astonished at what is in this teaching that is, second only to the Crucifixion and Resurrection, central to the doctrine.

Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed [are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

  4. No problem with the above, but nothing in it precludes pointing out what our enemies are up to and the impact it's making on our culture.

  8. But wasn't it nice for Jimmie Falon to warn Chris Christie of his imminent betrayal by The Boss? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/01/20/jimmy-fallon-chris-christie-springsteen_n_4631811.html
