The post-American university: where the spawn of the cattle-masses go to complete their infantilization

It's not just safe spaces, trigger warnings and poop swastikas that no one can seem to document.

The jackboots-with-the-vapors also want their damn education to be "free":

Students held rallies on college campuses across the United States on Thursday to protest ballooning student loan debt for higher education and rally for tuition-free public colleges and a minimum wage hike for campus workers.
The demonstrations, dubbed the Million Student March, were planned just two days after thousands of fast-food workers took to the streets in a nationwide day of action pushing for a $15-an-hour minimum wage and union rights for the industry.
About 50 students from Boston-area colleges gathered at Northeastern University carrying signs that read "Degrees not receipts" and "Is this a school or a corporation?"
"The student debt crisis is awful. Change starts when people demand it in the street. Not in the White House," said Elan Axelbank, 20, a third year student at Northeastern, who said he was a co-founder of the national action.
Photos and videos posted on social media showed marches at schools including Texas State, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Depaul University in Chicago.
Organizers are demanding tuition-free public colleges, cancellation of all student debt and a $15-an-hour minimum wage for campus workers.
I guess it would be rather "well, duh" of me to point out that this is scary. One could attempt to dismiss this as one big "waaahhh!", just a bit of acceleration of the entitlement mentality that has been affecting college students  for several decades. But recall that their militancy got a major university's president to resign a few days ago.

And it would be a rehash of the ground of the obvious to devote much space to their actual economic whines - the student debt that is a product of their individual choices to attend the schools that they did, the tyranny at the root of their redistributionist demand that tuition be "free" from now on, and, of course, the minimum wage which LITD has remarked on extensively due to its fundamental wrongness.

The disconnect between reality as human beings have understood it for ten thousand years and the world which these sexless apes insist on bringing about is astounding. Actually, that's an understatement. What characterization would in fact be adequate?

At a time when one in two working post-Americans is earning $30K a year, when the nation is flooded with illegal aliens happy to do much of what is currently available to do for a comparative pittance, and when the regime with its grip on the nation's throat is deliberately trying to exacerbate the situation with an utterly insane energy policy, these spit-up covered idiots really ought to be thinking about, in the words of a half-century-old all-too-prescient rock song, how it's going to feel to be scrounging for their next meal.

One more factor we ought to add to the litany of modern phenomena these grotesque products of a culture gone mad ought to consider:

Much of what there has been to do in this world is increasingly done by beings even less human than they are - that is, they are not even made of cells and organs, but rather plastic, metal and microchips:

In the not-too-distant future, humans in the workplace could go the way of the horse-and-buggy because of the "exponential growth of artificial intelligence," billionaire Jeff Greene said Thursday.
"When we first had the internal combustion engine — the horseless carriages, the car was called — look at all the horses they just put out to pasture," he said, making an ominous comparison to the present-day advances in automation. "We are going to be destroying jobs at a record clip."
"The way software, computers, robots are taking over … what's going to happen more and more is the American worker is going to be marginalized," Greene told CNBC's "Squawk Box" in an interview.
"Artificial intelligence (AI), right now, can do the task of a 100 IQ person," Greene said. Assuming a yearly increase of 1.5 percent in the capabilities of AI, he argued, "Ten years from now … artificial intelligence will do the tasks of a 120 IQ person."
You kids (there was a time when college-age folks resented being called kids, but I can attest from recent first-hand experience that they readily refer to themselves thusly now) had better understand that, even though you expect Leviathan to ladle out your daily gruel until your time on this earth is done, you also seem to expect that there is going to be an exciting world of "cool careers" awaiting you, so you'll have something to do with the otherwise-idle hours of your worthless lives.

That may well not be the case.

And, now, a word not only to the diaper-wetting offspring of the neutered cattle-masses of post-America, but all human beings currently drawing a breath:

You deserve nothing but your life and your freedom.

Nothing else.

Let me repeat: NOTHING ELSE.

Everything else, you will need to earn - a livelihood, respect, romance, personal contentment, debt relief.

It would really behoove you - us - to be as sharp as possible and devote yourselves - ourselves - to the clearest understanding of how reality works that we can achieve.

Because, as omnipresent as major Freedom-Hater figures such as the Most Equal Comrade and Hillionaire seem to be, there is no "they" or "it" that will actually be there to fulfill your demands and ladle out your gruel. Debt, robots and jihadists is going to be about it, and none of them give a flying f--- about your helpless little a--es.

Who, then, will indeed be there for you?

A little hint: the term by which he is commonly referenced and addressed begins with a "G".

  1. "with the vapors" I love it!

Well written, Mr Quick. We certainly have a problem with the cradle to grave nanny state, class warfare, entitled mentality in our country. What ever happened to "you want something? you pay for it" ??
