The Most Equal Comrade's deliberate obliviousness is going to get us all murdered in our beds

Just fully take in this dog vomit:

Trying to reassure a nation on edge, President Barack Obama said Sunday the Islamic State group "cannot strike a mortal blow" against the U.S., and he warned that overreacting to the Paris attacks would play into extremists' hands. "We will destroy this terrorist organization," he vowed.
Ending a trip to Asia, Obama implored Americans not to let the specter of terror cause them to compromise their values or change the way they live.
"We do not succumb to fear," he said. "The most powerful tool we have to fight ISIL is to say that we're not afraid, to not elevate them, to somehow buy into their fantasy that they're doing something important," Obama said, using an acronym for the terrorist organization.
Since IS militants killed 130 in France nine days ago, Obama's strategy has come under repeated questioning. He dismissed the group's global prowess of IS and said, "They're a bunch of killers with good social media."
Rejecting the notion of an existential threat, Obama said IS "can't beat us on the battlefield, so they try to terrorize us into being afraid."
And contrast it to Senator Dianne Feinstein's response to a question on Face the nation this morning about a recent assertion by Secretary Global-Test that the current post-American approach to the ISIS threat is sufficient. She says it is most definitely not sufficient and that "we don't have years."

  1. It is perfectly plausible that we would be playing right into the apocalyptic clutches of this relatively tiny band of maniacs. If crude is tough, Trump wins the day amongst the Tea Party crazies. Who are your heroes Cheney and Rummie behind? Of course it shall be revealed and thus numerous voters, including me will steer totally clear. They proved that Iron Ass don't work. Anyhow, whatever we do will be in conjunction with an international coalition. I suppose you don't like that either.

  2. I have no idea who Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney are behind because it's completely irrelevant to the current situation. What kind of international coalition do you envision? Russia will insist on leading any such coalition, and its strategic goals are different from the West's.

  3. Russia was not part of previous coalitions, so nothing new there either. See, they know we will flail about over this and other issues that divide us. But our ace in the hole is that we will never be as splintered as radical Islam is. We will win this fight. How many Americann boys and girls do you want to supply on the ground? The previous war vets are thriving so much, if it weren't for homelessness and high suicide rates which you will likely reveal as left wing mythology as well.

  4. You have absolutely no substantiation for your assertion that "we will win this fight." None. No policy, no strategy. You'd provide it if you had it.

  5. “The Plan”, that would be nice! Does this include differences of opinion and compromise? Appeasement or Aggression, here we are like a “deer in headlights”, frozen by division.

  6. As I say, you have no idea how you'd even begin to keep America safe. But you're in good company. neither does the Most Equal Comrade according to 53 percent of the post-American public, per a CBS poll. Also at least a couple of Dem senators.

  8. International Resolve. yes siree. So where is the "idea", surely those not among "Freedom Haters", or "Equal Comrades" have a great plan. I would love to hear it.

  9. Me, too. Just heard about the State Department's worldwide travel alert. This is no time for hand-wringing and platitudes about "international resolve."
