  1. Are there rumours of what Bolton's position will be in the new admin? Imagine you're drooling. Ya think Wolfie might be back there somewhere? Who are some of the alleged 30 per cent or so of the former preemptors that are coming on with Bolton? Why is Rummie back on talk radio?

  2. Uh, I don think High Times will be endorsing either candidate, both Freedom Haters when it comes to weed:

“I’m not going to be using Justice Department resources to try to circumvent state laws on this issue,” said then-Senator Barack Obama from the campaign trail of 2008.

    The issue? Medical marijuana.

At the 41st annual NORML national conference in Los Angeles, Stephen Gutwillig, Deputy Executive Director of the Drug Policy Alliance, called out President Obama for going back on his word after taking office.

“We have every right to be enraged at the Obama administration,” he said. “They knew what the right thing to do on medical marijuana policy in this country was, and they’ve broken their promise in so many different ways. We have every reason to feel betrayed by this president.”

  3. Re: Bolton and the camp that understands national security: We can only hope.

Re: weed: Someday when this nation doesn't have truly pressing matters on its plate, it will be interesting to see how policy on that shakes out.
