Midweek round-up

A smattering of noteworthy tidbits for your perusal:

Jeff Sessions has penned a well-articulated look at what bothers him about Trade Promotion Authority. He has five main concerns: consolidation of power in the executive branch, increased trade deficits, ceding of sovereign authority to international powers, currency manipulation, and an increase in immigration.

ISIS says it has 71 trained soldiers in 15 different states ready to wreak havoc.  We're getting a taste of what Israel lives with.

Kevin Williamson at NRO looks at the confounding mentality that has a problem with gentrification of crummy urban neighborhoods - and the attendant influx of capital.  Do you people want improved lives or not?

Jeb Bush in 7th place in Iowa, per Quinnipiac poll.  Most excellent.

What a difference a year makes.  In 2014, Hillionaire said about illegal alien kids that all of them should be sent back and reunited with their families if at all possible.  Now she's into the full-path-to-citizenship for illegals.

Scott Mayer at The American Thinker raises an interesting point.  Is GoFundMe not a public accommodation?  Then what's up with taking down the page for the six Baltimore police officers?

Funny old world, ain't it?
