Three items that demonstrate what the 2019 Democrat party is all about in all its hideousness and lunacy

This one is a clear yet shameful example of how leftists love humanity in the abstract but don't give a flying donkey wong about individual human beings. That Dem office-holders would take this opportunity to proselytize shows how dog vomit has come to occupy the place where once their souls resided. But to the students LITD says, "Good on ya.":

Survivors of a Colorado school shooting walked out of a vigil for their slain classmate Wednesday night in protest of politicians and other groups using it as a platform for gun control, a local report said.

The students from STEM High School, where two gunmen killed a student and wounded eight others Tuesday, began yelling from the stands that they “wanted to be heard” after two politicians and pro-gun control advocates addressed the crowd, according to the local NBC affiliate, KUSA.

They then stormed out of the vigil after Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet and Democratic Congressman Jason Crow addressed the crowd, the Denver Post reported.

The kids chanted “Mental health” and hurled expletives at the media, according to the report.

The students returned, and some of them took the microphone, saying their grief was being used for political purposes.

“What has happened at STEM is awful. But it’s not a statistic. We can’t be used as a reason for gun control. We are people, not a statement,” one student said, according to video by KUSA.

Speaking of the lone fatality, 18-year-old Kendrick Castillo, another student added, “We wanted Kendrick to be mourned. We wanted all of you to join us in that mourning, but that was not allowed here. We all walked out. We were not kicked out.” 

And now let's dispel this notion that Joe Biden provides some kind of refreshing dose of normalcy among the 2020 Dem presidential candidates. What he is and always has been is a big phony. I rather doubt he really believes this - not that I think he holds the opposite view, either. He's just tossing this out there because he thinks he needs to up his wokeness game:

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden said during a campaign stop in California on Wednesday that the United States has an "obligation" to give healthcare to illegal aliens.

And then there's the latest brilliant policy proposal from AOC. She says "we" (I guess that means the post-American people) "should have a not-for-profit public option for basic banking services and we should be piloting these projects through the USPC.

What the hell even got her thinking about this? Did she read some statistic stating that some people don't have access to basic banking services? And why the postal service? You can't find a government entity in a more feeble state.

They're here to take away your guns, obliterate the notion of national sovereignty, obliterate any tethering of health care to market pricing for particular goods and services, and take the first step toward government-run banking.

The post-American people are not as sharp or principled as they once were, but I just can't see them going in for this.
