My tweet yesterday about Trump preferring Kim Jong Un to Biden as President was meant in jest. The President correctly quoted me as saying it was a “completely ludicrous” statement. I should have been clearer. My apologies.
But don't you think the "should have been clearer" business was a nice touch? Kind of reminiscent of AOC's attempt to weasel out of meaning that we literally had 12 years when she said it (repeatedly).
And here's the VSG's gloat-back:

And then there's this VSG tweet, which is indeed from his own stubby fingers:In explicit terms, Trump said that Kim is “very smart” and Biden is “low I.Q.,” while the part about Kim making “a better President than Sleepy Joe Biden” was left as an inference.Bremmer later apologized for and deleted his tweet, but perhaps he now owes Trump a “thank you” for so promptly replacing it with real quotes.
North Korea fired off some small weapons, which disturbed some of my people, and others, but not me. I have confidence that Chairman Kim will keep his promise to me, & also smiled when he called Swampman Joe Biden a low IQ individual, & worse. Perhaps that’s sending me a signal?

The grownups in his administration definitely have their hands full, don't they? Kudlow has to play cleanup after the boastings about tariffs, and Pompeo and Bolton have to deal with the likes of this.
But jobs numbers and judicial appointments!
