After years of captivity, Pastor Brunson still keeps the Lord front and center

Much to write about concerning this episode. There are the ridiculous charges on which he was held: helping Kurdish militants and the Pennsylvania-based Turkish Muslim cleric, Fethullah Gulen. There's the sudden turnabout on the part of the Turkish government. There's the simultaneous situation regarding Khashoggi and the Saudi consulate in Turkey. There's the effect on domestic public ramifications, particularly on the political level.

But there's plenty of time for all that.

The most important thing to note right now is that Pastor Bunson understands that everything in this world starts with going to the Lord.

Thank you, God, for this man's freedom and his opportunity to continue his Kingdom work in Your name.

  1. Now it is hoped the Spirit will grant him supernatural wisdom as if he didn't act like he already had it. A sure sign of that would be humility. I know it's not my call but I have to wonder when do these sorts of prayers kick in?

  4. When I was a kid I used to pray nightly for a new bike but one never came. So I stole one and asked to be forgiven.
