This savage:
The Democratic Party is stark, raving mad. That is the lesson of the last two years. The
Minneapolis Star Tribune headlines: “Rosemount educator on leave after tweeting ‘kill Kavanaugh?'” Well, yes, she is. Rosemount, for what it’s worth, is one town over from where I live. The Strib’s story is characteristically discreet:
A Rosemount special education teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave after posting a tweet Saturday that appeared to call for the killing of new U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
The teacher, listed as an instructor at the Intermediate School District 917’s Alliance Education Center, has since deleted her Twitter account but her tweet was captured and shared by scores of users who said they reported it to the FBI and U.S. Secret Service.
A spokesman for the FBI in Minneapolis said Monday that the bureau was aware of the tweet, which read: “So whose [sic] gonna take one for the team and kill Kavanaugh?”
I am so old, I can remember when teachers knew how to spell. But that was before the teachers’ unions took over and dumbed down our educational system, with more or less catastrophic results both for our schools and for our politics.
The Star Tribune is not naming the teacher because she has not been charged with a crime. In a statement on the district’s website Monday morning, ISD 917 Superintendent Mark Zuzek confirmed the district received a complaint about an employee over the weekend and placed the employee on paid administrative leave “pending the outcome of the investigation.”
And
this savage:
Antifa protesters blocked traffic and almost started a riot during a Saturday march and vigil for Patrick Kimmons, a black Portland man shot by police on September 30 after he allegedly shot two people and approached officers holding a gun.
“Protesters Started a Riot in Downtown Portland!” tweeted videographer Brandon Farley, who, according to his Twitter feed, records “disruptive events in downtown Portland, Oregon.” The disturbing video shows protesters running down the street, and a group chasing an older white-haired man to his car.
“Just go that way,” a female protester told a driver who had rolled down his window to talk. When he purportedly asked why, she responded, “Because I told you to.”
“Yeah brother, yeah you little white little f*er,” a man, who appeared to be white himself, yelled while approaching the vehicle. “The First Amendment. Get the f* down the road.”
Later in the video he called the driver a “little white supremacist” after he noticed the driver’s tags were from North Carolina.
And
Madame Bleachbit spells out just what the terms are:
"You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about," Clinton said in an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour. "That's why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that's when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength."
Bring it, toots.
So much for Democratic leadership cooling their jets. Don't they realize how this is hurting them with the vast undecided/independents, as polls have shown?
ReplyDeleteHistory does not support your position...even last week. It was the very "undignified" and "divisive" behavior of Kavanaugh and Senate GOP that saved their bacon...and the rubes ate it up.
DeleteNo, sir, you are, sorry to say, absolutely, indisputably wrong about this. From Ghandi to King to Kaepernick, the greedheads, bigots, and regressive extremists have never, never, never, EVER done the right thing out of the goodness of their Western Civilized being. Thoughts, prayers, and emails to your Congressman have a dismal track record.
Colin Kaelpernick is an America-hating piece of shit.
DeleteGhandi was a bisexual racist who left his wife for a bodybuilder.

The FBI has tapes of MLK in a hotel room with a gaggle of women. You can hear giggling and ice clinking in glasses and him saying, "I'm fucking for God!" and "Tonight I'm not a negro!"
The reason Brett Kavanaugh got a little hot under the collar was that he was facing those who had falsely accused him of heinous sex offenses.

DeleteYou still lack any evidence that the accusations were false. Cheers.
DeleteThat's not what our legal system obliges one to prove. The onus is on the accuser to prove that his or her accusations are true.
DeleteAs I have pointed out before, were we in court, your whining would not be as irrelevant. While I dislike the trivial tone of comparing the process to a job interview, it nevertheless is a more appropriate comparison than criminal court. If a comparable situation arose in a business setting, you might very well hire a Brett Kavanaugh just to piss off an adversary (I actually think we might both have seen that occur in real life back in the day), but it would not be a wise decision, especially with untarnished prospects of equal or often better experience readily available
DeleteAnd I know Colin will be just heartbroken when he hears that you called him those names. DID U THINK OF THAT?!?

ReplyDeleteI disliked Hillie less than Trump but her saying the incivility will stop when "they" win is purely and simply blackmail so I'm gonna vote my pocketbook and it ain't bolstered by her ilk.
ReplyDeleteHillary Clinton during a CNN interview in Oxford, England stated,“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about. That’s why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again.”

Nice to see the embattled ND Heidi Heitcamp slam Hillie for her advocation of incivility. Dem incivility is killing their chances to regain control of Congress. Why dont they urge their rowdy renegades to get out to vote?
