This party - whenever and wherever it happened - or didn't - escapes yet another key person's recollection:
What kinds of details - dates, locations, sworn testimony about who was there - can she give that's not going to run smack counter to what everybody else is saying?Christine Blasey Ford has claimed that four other people attended a small gathering at which she was allegedly assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh. Three of those people, PJ Smyth, Mark Judge, and Kavanaugh, have already denied any recollection of attending such a party. On Saturday night, Leland Ingham Keyser, a classmate of Ford's at the all-girls school Holton-Arms and her final named witness, denied any recollection of attending a party with Brett Kavanaugh."Simply put, Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford," lawyer Howard J. Walsh said in a statement sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee.CNN reports that " Keyser is a lifelong friend of Ford's."
None of this matters because the Kangaroo Court of public opinion bolstered by females and independents is marking an ironic turn in Trump's crusade to overturn Roe v Wade and other claimed wrong headed decisions when he is actually orchestrating his and his party's demise at least in the midterms. Isn't it ironic? It is pretty clear that despite the interrogations next week, there is very likely to be a defeat for K from the vote in the Senate when it co.es, as seriously wrong as it is, the Kangaroo Court of public opinion will cause another one to bite the dust...
ReplyDeleteYou may be right. 2018 post-America is one damn ugly place.
ReplyDeleteA second woman has come forward to accuse Supreme Court justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct.
ReplyDeleteDeborah Ramirez, 53, told the New Yorker that Kavanaugh exposed himself at a college dorm party when they were both studying at Yale, “thrust his penis in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away. “Brett was laughing,” she told the magazine, which posted the story Sunday night. “I can still see his face, and his hips coming forward, like when you pull up your pants.”
Another Yale student, who chose to remain anonymous, said he was “100% sure” that he had heard about Kavanaugh allegedly exposing himself to Ramirez at the time.

"And then there is the party’s id, Trump, who as a candidate denied more than a dozen accusations of sexual assault and harassment and sought to silence and retaliate against his accusers — and who as president has defended one accused man after another."
ReplyDelete“The antipathy to Trump from women — college-educated, white, suburban women — transcends anything I’ve ever seen in politics,” Castellanos said. “And it’s not just against Trump’s policies, of course. It’s against Trump as the 1960s ‘Mad Men’ alpha male. It’s Trump who grabbed women where he shouldn’t. Women are coming out to vote against Donald Trump because they see him as a culturally regressive force that would undo the women’s march to equality.”

And poof, just like that, due process died.
ReplyDelete"A classmate of Ramirez’s, who declined to be identified because of the partisan battle over Kavanaugh’s nomination, said that another student told him about the incident either on the night of the party or in the next day or two. The classmate said that he is “one-hundred-per-cent sure” that he was told at the time that Kavanaugh was the student who exposed himself to Ramirez. He independently recalled many of the same details offered by Ramirez, including that a male student had encouraged Kavanaugh as he exposed himself. The classmate, like Ramirez, recalled that the party took place in a common room on the first floor in Entryway B of Lawrance Hall, during their freshman year. “I’ve known this all along,” he said. “It’s been on my mind all these years when his name came up. It was a big deal.” The story stayed with him, he said, because it was disturbing and seemed outside the bounds of typically acceptable behavior, even during heavy drinking at parties on campus. The classmate said that he had been shocked, but not necessarily surprised, because the social group to which Kavanaugh belonged often drank to excess. He recalled Kavanaugh as “relatively shy” until he drank, at which point he said that Kavanaugh could become “aggressive and even belligerent.”

The Left's war on human decency and Western civilization grows more stage by the minute.
ReplyDeleteNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post all took a pass on this story.

The closest thing to confirmation comes from one person, a fellow classmate who asked to remain anonymous. That classmate told Farrow he merely heard about the party, either that night or the day after. That classmate said they were “one hundred percent sure” they heard that Kavanaugh was the offender -- but that student was not at the alleged party.
In other words, the anonymous student is repeating a rumor. Some students say it sounds like the sort of thing that could happen. Apparently, Kavanaugh drank like a fish at the time. Others who interviewed by Farrow, however, say the incident never even happened in the first place.
Two of the male students who Ramirez named insist that nothing happened. The wife of a third male student who was allegedly in the room also said nothing happened. Just for good measure, three more undergraduate classmates who spent time in the dormitory in question swear to his character. They write in a statement:
"We were the people closest to Brett Kavanaugh during his first year at Yale. He was a roommate to some of us, and we spent a great deal of time with him, including in the dorm where this incident allegedly took place. Some of us were also friends with Debbie Ramirez during and after her time at Yale. We can say with confidence that if the incident Debbie alleges ever occurred, we would have seen or heard about it—and we did not."
But the nail in the coffin seems to come from the wife of the third man allegedly in the room. A close friend of Ramirez at the time, she tells Farrow that the accuser is “a woman I was best friends with. We shared intimate details of our lives. And I was never told this story by her, or by anyone else. It never came up. I didn’t see it; I never heard of it happening.”
The Left is comprised of. evil savages and they are destroying what little is left of a recognizable America.
Trump opened a Pandora's Box on the left and I will defend neither. He rules by lies and innuendo too and his modus operandi is every bit as much to create chaos.
