Post-American snowflakes are just plain afraid of divine truth and the plainly apparent design of the universe around them - today's edition

Needing a safe space because a speaker came to campus to assert what was commonly acknowledged reality a mere ten years ago:

In response to a pastor invited to speak on campus about traditional marriage, progressive students opened a safe space for LGBT students to protect them from the “hate-mongering” going on in another room behind closed doors.
According to The College Fix, Rev. Jonathan Fisk was invited to the private Washington University in St. Louis on Monday evening by the Lutheran Student Fellowship to give a talk titled “The Original Diversity: Man & Woman in Christ.” Fisk’s speech covers the “goodness and importance of procreation and marriage between a man and a woman.” This prompted College Democrats to host counter protest titled “Nothing But Love: A Demonstration of Inclusion” which was “only open to LGBTQIA-identified and questioning Wash U students.” Fisk was also labeled “an unabashedly homophobic, ultra-conservative, transphobic, anti-choice fear monger” in a campus newspaper op-ed.
However, Rev. Fisk assured he wasn’t there to discuss homosexuality, but to stress the importance of traditional marriage and the dangers of its decline around the world. Fisk gave his speech in a closed room above the protests. While no one in the hall below could hear what the reverend was saying, the Lutheran students could certainly hear the singing and clapping from the protests below.
It is so very late in the day.

  1. Divorce is verboten too for Christians. Fundies divorce at greater rates than the general population. Why don't we all just live/let live or in other words, judge not, lest we judge and accept that we are forgiven as we forgive. A lot like karma if that word too is not forbidden. Snowflakes are the new nigger.

  2. Tell it to the safe-space freaks at Washington University. I've lost all patience for the ignoring of the rot in our culture and the threat to the Judeo-Christian underpinnings of our civilization. This is deadly serious stuff and must be fought.

  4. In what sense are these pathetic freaks the new n-----?

  5. It's just another insulting name for pathetic freaks. Apparently you feel as threatened as they do. Just yawn and if they step out of line, the man come and take them away, right?

  6. You get off on the homos as a threat to the sanctity of marriage. Why not attack the Christian divorce rate?

  7. Because it's irrelevant to the definition of marriage

  8. Oh, never mind. I thought I read that his topic was traditional marriage. I heard that was unto death. Jesus spoke of divorce, didn't dig it. Not a word about homosexuality. That was Paul. Just a man.

  9. His topic was indeed actual marriage. But the point of the linked article was that acting like a spit-up-besotted three-month-old, which is the tactic being employed by these people who demand validation for their abnormality, has, at this late date, become an effective tool for making Christian champions of normal-people relations out to be the bad guys.

  10. Really, what do you care about someone else's abnormality or sin, if you will? Your judgment is contingent upon how you judge. Thus sayeth your Saviour. Did these snowflakes break any laws? If so, you can take glee in locking them up, can't you? The pastor was invited to speak on campus about traditional marriage. I wasn't there, do you have a transcript? Traditional marriage is unto death. Or was this just about the sin of others outside traditional marriage? You're cool with the Lord, right? You don't poke and don't enjoy being poked, right? Sure it offends your sensibilities and if it is sin, it's really not your call. Were you anointed savior of the sacraments? You don't even have to say just say no. To yourself and certainly have no right to say it to others, we went through that through the 60s in this country. Strengthen your own marriage and continue to be a light unto the world if you want. I realize you currently feel empowered by all the great people metaphorically sucking Trump's dick.

  11. Oh, stop it. No one twelve years ago was talking about homosexual "marriage" or "transsexual" bathroom "rights."

You either are horrified at the destruction of what were assumed to be givens - not just in Western civilization, but all over the world, throughout history - or you are the enemy in the struggle over the question of whether the basic concepts of decency and normalcy are going to survive.

    1. Oh, more battle lines. Now I'm the enemy if I am not horrified. Gimme a break!

  12. Think about all the young people who surely distrust the "institution" of marriage. Wonder why?

  13. I stand by my assertion. A person in this country in this time is one or the other.

  14. And you might stay married. Be such light unto the wayward world by what you do, not what you say.

  15. Because I doubt that for you, as for me, bliss is only a butthole away, committed or uncommitted. Can't speak for others, but can only throw the book at them.
