Squirrel-Hair is no conservative - today's edition

I can see this becoming an ongoing series - with depressingly frequent posts.

I wonder if vice-president-elect Pence feels free to speak candidly to S-H about their differences on this issue:

In an interview with CBS' "60 Minutes" aired Sunday, Trump said the issue has "been settled," adding that he personally feels about gay marriage is irrelevant.
"It's law. It was settled in the Supreme Court," Trump said.
"It's done. ... These cases have gone to the Supreme Court. They've been settled, and I'm fine with that."
Trump has, in recent months, painted himself as a "friend" of the LGBTQ community, though he once considered appointing Supreme Court justices that would overturn the ruling.
But his latest stance on the issue is at odds with the GOP's official platform.
Passed during the summer, the platform strongly supports "traditional marriage" and condemned the Supreme Court ruling that legalized gay marriage. It's also a position that strikes contrast between himself and his vice president, Mike Pence
"Five unelected lawyers robbed 320 million Americans of their legitimate constitutional authority to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman," the platform reads.
"We, therefore, support the appointment of justices and judges who respect the constitutional limits on their power and respect the authority of the states to decide such fundamental social questions."
Question for Ingraham, Hannity, Root, Black, Gingrich and Coulter:  Is this just a minor side issue, a distraction from some supposed Grand Vision that actual conservatives are too dense to get?

Please enlighten us, slime-buckets.

UPDATE: S-H clearly has no interest in sending consistent signals. He has appointed Ken Blackwell to oversee the domestic front during the transition. Blackwell holds the same view of homosexual "marriage" as Pence (and LITD).

  1. Perhaps Our Father who hears in secret will retaliate publicly, but there will still be those who blame San Andreas.

  2. He's not going to pull out of NATO either, so says the news today. Bet you hope he doesn't disappoint Nettie like he must be crashing the isolationist dreams of some of his supporters. He has been shown to be great at firing folks though.

  3. LITD extends vast reservoirs of gratitude for these stunningly incisive observations on the extent to which Donald Trump grasps conservative principles.

  4. Where' do I like this here? Gratitude is good. It keeps us going when times are tough and humble when everything's Zippity Do Dah. Zippity eh?

  5. But I will work on my incisors so I can chew on your conservative fat.

  6. When humanity finally embraces conservatism, the fat of the land will be there for the availing.

  7. Humanity seems to be a long way from uniting to embrace any single thing or things, except eachother for a time, then comes another baby carriage. Despite the perceived epidemic of sordid homosexual union, this globe keeps on burgeoning with humans, many of whom are worthless because they don't embrace conservatism. Make them!
