The accelerating pace of weirdness in post-America

What's depressing about this story is that there will be an increasing cascade of similar situations, and groups will be formed on the basis of getting "justice" for the freaks encroaching on the space of normal people:

Yvette Cormier, a member of the Midland,  MI Planet Fitness, learned last week that this philosophy allows transgendered clients to use the locker room of whichever gender they identify with.
After her workout, Cormier noticed what she thought was a man in the woman’s locker room with her. According to ABC News, she complained to the gym staff and was told:
“Whatever gender you feel you are, that’s the locker room you’re allowed to go in.
“And then he said, ‘We’ve had lots of complaints about him but we told him to go change in a stall.’
“He said, ‘if you’re uncomfortable with that you can wait until he’s done in there.’
I stood back and said, ‘How about he waits until I’m done in the women’s locker room. Or get a unisex bathroom.’
He asked if I would like to talk to the manager and I said, ‘I’m calling corporate.'”
When Cormier called, Planet Fitness’ corporate representatives confirmed the policy. She feels that this policy should have been disclosed when she signed up for her membership, and that Planet Fitness should provide a separate locker room for transgendered individuals.
Over the following days, Cormier told other women at the gym about the policy:
“Every day I said ‘just so you know, there’s a man they allow in this locker room and they don’t tell you that when you sign up.'”
Management at the location felt her behavior was disruptive and revoked her membership.
A Planet Fitness representative released the following statement:
“Planet Fitness is committed to creating a non-intimidating, welcoming environment for our members.
Our gender identity non-discrimination policy states that members and guests may use all gym facilities based on their sincere self-reported gender identity.
The manner in which this member expressed her concerns about the policy exhibited behavior that management at the Midland club deemed inappropriate and disruptive to other members, which is a violation of the membership agreement and as a result her membership was cancelled.”

Check out the photos of the dude at the center of this controversy.  Not only is it obvious that he sports a tallywacker between his legs, he's stone ugly.

Planet Fitness takes its policy of non-judgement way too seriously.
