Cardinal Burke has already been demoted.

Well it wasn't and the good cardinal was pretty much smacked down from all corners. I know it is debatable whether he was promoted or demoted by the Pope but I don't think bishops get reassigned much. And I particularly recall Pope Francis getting down on denial of the eucharist within days of his installation, but you righties try to tell us something was lost in translation. Receiving communion has always been up to the individual conscience, not the conscience of the priest. Christ offered the bread and wine to the one who would betray him, did he not?
Is this man, this priest/bishop a man for all seasons? Don't think so. I can see him tightening the torture devices in some Inquisition dungeon if we still did that sort of thing. Some shoes of the fisherman type, huh? By the way, Majerus was born, raised, educated & buried a Catholic. Wonder if the good and kindly Bishop Burke tried to block his extreme unction which was likely performed more than once on a man with long-standing heart disease. Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord. So what you are saying is that it should be noted that fealty to doctrine is a high priority for Cardinal Burke.
