Time to call it a cover-up
The regime knew within 24 hours that the Benghazi consulate debacle was a terrorist attack, and still sent out Jay Carney and Susan Rice for days afterwards to insult our intelligence. Meant in both senses of the word.
Romney was right then. Still, he spoke too sooon. They all spoke too soon. What's up with CNN getting this Ambassador's diary. I heard the FBI hasn't even been able to scour the scene of the crime. If there is a lesson in this its that they all spoke too soon. But, this really could cost Obama the election. Oh boy, hawks again in the White House. That brings its own set of worries and problems. It's that simple. Again. Hawks v. Doves, Us v. Them. Good v. Evil. Mow the sand nigs down!!!!!
Charles Krauthammer has a great piece at NRO today that I may link to. His view is rather the opposite of your take. He says it's time to go big and call the MEC's entire foreign policy a horrible failure that places the US and the West in unacceptable peril.
The debates are going to be great. I eagerly anticipate them. Romney can go big and we'll see how this goes down. I repeat, I admit he was right in his 2 sentence statement about the attack on the embassy in Libya. He has a chance to rip in to Obama. Foreign policy doesnt hit the agenda big until the last one. I think the differences between the two candidates are most profound on foreign policy. Hawks v Doves. Haven"t had this much of a difference sinde 1972. I have been blogging here 6 years now this month. No time to stop now. Maybe after the election I will get out of your hair here for good and allow the others more room to agree with you.
There's quite a swirl of events occurring right now. Missing chemical weapons in Syria, 90 al-Qaeda terrorists sprung from Tikrit prison in Iraq, the aid package to Egypt (see latest post) and, of course, the shameful abandonment of Israel.
