The face of evil

Talk about being morally and spiritually on the wrong side of an issue.  Yesterday, tens of thousands of protesters organized by a disgusting coalition of West-hating groups rallied in London, calling Israel a terrorist state for its response to Hamas's rocket barrage.  London was by no means the only locale for such hideous displays, though:

Saturday’s demonstration in London came on the heels of numerous protests Thursday and Friday worldwide, including Cairo, Istanbul, Cape Town, Berlin, New York and Washington. Many of the protests have turned violent.
In Istanbul, police warded off hundreds of rioters who attempted on Thursday to storm the Israeli embassy building. Demonstrators in Ankara and Istanbul also hurled stones at several compounds where Israeli officials reside. Calls for the destruction of the Jewish state were heard in both Turkish cities. Police responded by firing tear gas canisters and water cannons at the crowds. Israel decided Friday to pull some of its diplomatic staff out of Turkey in the wake of the protests.

In Toronto, the International Socialists were part of the mix, as well as as at least one "Jewish" feminist steaming with self-hatred and general ideological poison:

As with any public event, this one was enriched by the presence of celebrities. True, those were just the unglamorous lefty celebrities, but they still deserve coverage. On the event’s Facebook page I spotted the name of Judy Rebick – the Jewish super-feminist, who considers Israel a racist state declared her intention to attend the event.

Get this straight, you stool samples posing as human beings:  Gaza is run by Hamas, the charter of which calls for Israel's destruction.  Underneath its streets and buildings is a vast network of tunnels through which the rockets it pounds Israel with are transported.  Its leaders are millionaires while most of its population lives in squalor or near-squalor.  In 2005, when, in an ill-advised move, Israel turned control of Gaza over to these monsters, there were thousands of high-tech, highly productive greenhouses profitably exporting fruit and flowers to the world.  American Jewish donors had bought them from the departing settlers for $14 million.  They could have been an excellent economic launching point for a fine way of life for the Palestinians taking over.  But no.  Their Jew-hatred was so intense that they couldn't just assume operation of them.  They destroyed them and made off with the irrigation hoses, water pumps and plastic sheeting.

Antisemitism is once again having its rancid way.  Jews are leaving France in record numbers.

And of course, we know that the Presbyterian Church USA recently chose to become a hate group, divesting its investment portfolio of funds invested in companies that do business in Israel.

I recently became Facebook friends with a fellow local freelance writer of my casual acquaintance.  I knew her to be pretty true to the basic persona of freelance writers around our parts: somewhat unconventional, a little edgy in her sociocultural observations, but basically someone whose bit of edginess was just a refreshing personality embellishment.  But yesterday, she made it clear with a couple of posts that she buys into this dog vomit.  Some s--- about how Gazans don't have tanks or whatever.

It's time for the ragged remnants of Western civilization to get a David attitude: "I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side."
