He's right, of course, and it's great, of course, but will the green brigade of the FHers ever howl

Gov. Rick Perry calls global warming "a big phony mess."

  1. Blow the trumpet in Zion. Declare a holy fast. Call a sacred assembly. Gather the people. Consecrate the assembly. Bring together the elders. Gather the children. Gather the mothers, nurturing their children at the breast.

  2. And now for an anything but briefing from the Prophet Perry. He may be right, but I must stay tuned for pronouncements from his puny pulpit, because he and his "folks" have some quite more traditional explanations for some of our weather patterns. And if the Lord defeats him, well, he's already called himself a prophet:

"As Think Progress has documented, Perry has a history of ducking tough questions by invoking religion, and has suggested in the past that he’s just implementing God’s will on Earth through his irresponsible governance. Perry may be answering Republicans’ prayers if he enters the race, but it’s still pretty self-aggrandizing to call himself a prophet."
