Britain obliterates its own foundations:

A British father has been banned from taking his son to a church after the boy’s Muslim mother won a controversial court order preventing the boy from attending.

The father – a non-practising Muslim who has forged close connections to his local Christian community and is divorced from the boy’s mother – has been warned that he could be denied access to 

the nine-year-old if he attempts to take him to church or to a leisure centre it runs.

Now the father, who was born in the UK to Pakistani parents, is challenging the ruling made by District Judge Williscroft at Derby County Court earlier this month.

They may not have to dirty-bomb us. A few key court rulings may do the trick.

Post-America's universities and colleges have become madhouses and sewers of intellectual poison.

By now, you're surely aware that the rabid Jacobins of racial hatred have forced out president Tim Wolfe at the University of Missouri. There is no act or incident to which these goons, these jackboots, these monsters, can point as a reason for their ginned-up rage.  Theses terror-loving, decency-hating revolutionaries just felt that they had amassed enough power to pull this off.

That's where we are. That's how chilling, how terrifying, how grotesque the dynamic is between these power-mad totalitarians and their shameful appeasers.

Lest anyone reading this think I'm indulging in hyperbole, please avail yourself of these videos of this mob shutting down the cafeteria and the homecoming parade, exhorting each other at their rallies and workshops, screaming their chants.


Here's their list of demands:

I. We demand that the University of Missouri System President, Tim Wolfe, writes a handwritten apology to the Concerned Student 1-­9-­5-0 demonstrators and holds a press conference in the Mizzou Student Center reading the letter. In the letter and at the press conference, Tim Wolfe must acknowledge his white male privilege, recognize that systems of oppression exist, and provide a verbal commitment to fulfilling Concerned Student 1-9-5-­0 demands. We want Tim Wolfe to admit to his gross negligence, allowing his driver to hit one of the demonstrators, consenting to the physical violence of bystanders, and lastly refusing to intervene when Columbia Police Department used excessive force with demonstrators. 

II. We demand the immediate removal of Tim Wolfe as UM system president. After his removal a new amendment to UM system policies must be established to have all future UM system president and Chancellor positions be selected by a collective of students, staff, and faculty of diverse backgrounds.

III. We demand that the University of Missouri meets the Legion of Black Collegians' demands that were presented in 1969 for the betterment of the black community. 

IV. We demand that the University of Missouri creates and enforces comprehensive racial awareness and inclusion curriculum throughout all campus departments and units, mandatory for all students, faculty, staff, and administration. This curriculum must be vetted, maintained, and overseen by a board comprised of students, staff, and faculty of color. 

V. We demand that by the academic year 2017-2018, the University of Missouri increases the percentage of black faculty and staff campus-wide to 10%. 

VI. We demand that the University of Missouri composes a strategic 10 year plan by May 1, 2016 that will increase retention rates for marginalized students, sustain diversity curriculum and training, and promote a more safe and inclusive campus. 

VII. We demand that the University of Missouri increases funding and resources for the University of Missouri Counseling Center for the purpose of hiring additional mental health professionals -- particularly those of color, boosting mental health outreach and programming across campus, increasing campus-­wide awareness and visibility of the counseling center, and reducing lengthy wait times for prospective clients. 

VIII. We demand that the University of Missouri increases funding, resources, and personnel for the social justices centers on campus for the purpose of hiring additional professionals, particularly those of color, boosting outreach and programming across campus, and increasing campus-­wide awareness and visibility.

And things are going to hell fast at Yale as well. 

And, as is nearly always the case now, the cowardly administration is puking all over itself to see the viewpoint of the goose-stepping civilization-obliterators:

Weeks of simmering racial tension at Yale University boiled over in recent days into a debate over whether the administration was sensitive enough to concerns about Halloween costumes seen as culturally offensive, students and adminstrators said.

Peter Salovy, the president of Yale, said he had been left “deeply troubled” by a meeting he held with students of color last week who were “in great distress.” Many said they did not believe the university was attuned to the needs of minority students.“The experiences they shared went beyond the incidents of the last few days,” he said in a statement. “Their concerns and cries for help made clear that some students find life on our campus profoundly difficult."

The debate over Halloween costumes began late last month when the university’s Intercultural Affairs Committee sent an email to the student body asking students to avoid wearing “culturally unaware and insensitive” costumes that could offend minority students. It specifically advised them to steer clear of outfits that included elements like feathered headdresses, turbans or blackface.

The only question is how fast this is going to spread. And how fast corporate America, which already has an established track record of acquiescing to the left, will attempt to head off at the pass any spread of this degree of militancy to its offices and shop floors by doubling down on its divisive and counterproductive "diversity" initiatives.

The atmosphere in Cambodia in the late 1970s no longer looks like such a remote possibility, does it?

A high-ranking Anglican proclaims to all the world that there is no true and false, no right and wrong, and nothing worth preserving about the civilization in which he's lived his entire life.  And Prince Charles has no idea why there should continue to be a United Kingdom of which he would become king:

Prince Charles's coronation should include a reading from the Koran, a Church of England Bishop has said. Lord Harries of Pentregarth, a retired Bishop of Oxford, said that such a gesture at the traditionally Anglican service would be "creative" and make Muslims feel "embraced" by the nation.

Speaking in the House of Lords yesterday, the retired bishop, who continues to serve as an assistant in the Anglican diocese of Southwark, said that the Church of England should be "exercising its historic position in a hospitable way."

Speaking of a civic service held at Bristol Cathedral last year, he said that authorities had agreed that a passage from the Koran should be read out before the Christian service started. "It was a brilliant creative act of accommodation that made the Muslim high sheriff feel, as she said, warmly embraced but did not alienate the core congregation," he said.

"That principle of hospitality can and should be reflected in many public ceremonies, including the next coronation service."

Prince Charles has previously stated that when he becomes king he wants to be seen as "Defender of Faith", rather than "Defender of the Faith" – a title traditionally used by British monarchs, first bestowed on Henry VIII by Pope Leo X in 1521.

However, some Christian groups have criticised the idea. Simon Calvert of the Christian Institute told the Daily Mail: "Most people will be amazed at the idea that a Christian leader would consider the use of the Koran at a Christian service in a Christian abbey. 

"People are just so disappointed when senior Church of England figures lose confidence in the claims of the Christian faith."

Subsuming the nation that was once the standard-bearer of the West's essence into the Caliphate is going to be a walk in the park for the enemy.

The continent that spawned Western civilization has become a sewer of radical Islam.

A gang of Muslims hurled a Molotov cocktail at a Kosher restaurant in Paris.
The Muslims first entered the restaurant and threatened the diners calling them “dirty Jews.”
Israel National News reported, via Religion of Peace:

A firebomb was thrown at a kosher Jewish restaurant in the 17th district of Paris at week’s end.

Several minutes earlier, some young Muslims who walked by the restaurant threatened the diners inside and called them “dirty Jews.” The diners did not react.

A few minutes passed, and a loud smash was heard when a firebomb hit the restaurant’s door. The diners managed to see a group of Muslims running away as the firebomb ignited, starting a fire, which the restaurant’s employees succeeded in putting out. None of the restaurant-goers was hurt.

And at PJ Media, Robert Spencer lists the ten latest signs that the conquest of the UK continues apace.  It includes such examples as yet more young Britons joining ISIS, Prince Charles imploring Muslim leaders to get their faithful to "respect other religions," and this little bit of totalitarianism employed in the service of surrender to jihad:

 Home Secretary Theresa May has announced new “Extremism Disruption Orders,” which would empower the British government to prevent people from broadcasting, holding public rallies, or even posting on Facebook and Twitter if they promoted “extremism.” Chancellor George Osborne emphasized that the new orders were designed to “eliminate extremism in all its forms” – including the justification of “hatred” against a particular religion.

Critics of the proposal have pointed out that this would criminalize criticism of Sharia, even in its most oppressive aspects – the stonings, amputations, and denial of equal rights to women and non-Muslims.

and this bit of patty-cake:

William Hague, the Conservative leader of the House of Commons, announced that his government was ready to aid British jihadis returning from the Islamic State if they had “good intentions.” Some of the returning jihadis, Hague said compassionately, will “just need help because they will have been through an extremely traumatic period.”

Remember my post from the other day in which I mused on the Most Equal Comrade's very odd brand of totalitarianism?  I observed that most tyrants like to strut their stuff on the world stage, engage in some aggression, and that, while the MEC certainly fits the qualification for a totalitarian socialist at home, he's strangely unicorns-and-rainbows / defer-to-pointy-heads-in-international-bureacracies in his attitude toward post-Amrica's role in the world at large.

A story out of the UK shows that this new brand of Leftism is alive and well there, too.  Check out this incident for an example of the weird combination of thought-and-speech control and voluntary dhimmitude that is doing in Western civilization:

A pensioner who said ‘I’m not Muslim’ when he was asked to remove his shoes at airport security has spent more than six months facing charges for racism.

Paul Griffith, 75, pictured, set off the security scanner’s alarm at Stansted airport when travelling to Malaga for a week’s holiday.

He removed his shoes as requested, but said: ‘I am not Muslim am I?’ 

A security guard accused him of racism and called the police, saying he was upset by the remark.

'One minute I am queuing up to get on a plane and the next I am confronted by two armed policemen. 

'They said I had used racist language and took me to an office in the terminal,' Mr Griffith said yesterday. 

Mr Griffith was allowed to go on his trip but was arrested when he returned. He was charged with causing ‘racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress’.

'When I got back I had to wait six hours before they interviewed me again, arrested me and said that was being charged with causing racially aggravated harassment.

'I was photographed, had my finger prints taken and they also took a DNA swab from my mouth. 'Then they said I would have to go to my local police station. 

When I went to Colchester police station I was told I had been charged with an offence under the Crime and Disorder Act but that I could accept a caution instead.

'I refused to do that - I had done nothing wrong and I wasn’t going to admit to a criminal charge if I wasn’t guilty of any crime.'

Chelmsford Magistrates' Court finally dropped the charges, but the fact that this man was inconvenienced at all bodes ill for the state of our civilization.  As does the official misuse of the term "racism."  Islam is a stinking religion.

In Britain, quoting Winston Churchill can get you hauled off to the hoosegow:

A candidate in the European elections was arrested on suspicion of racial harrassment after quoting a passage about Islam, written by Winston Churchill, during a campaign speech.

Paul Weston, chairman of the party Liberty GB, made the address on the steps of Winchester Guildhall, in Hampshire on Saturday.

A member of the public took offence at the quote, taken from Churchill's The River War and called police.

The passage from the book, written by the wartime Prime Minister and first published in 1899, focuses on Churchill's observations about Islam while serving during the Anglo-Egyptian reconquest of the Sudan.

Mr Weston told his audience: 'Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. 

'Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the faith: all know how to die but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. 

'No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith.'

Police officers arrested Mr Weston, mid-speech, for failing to comply with their request to move on under the powers of a dispersal order made against him.

He was further arrested on suspicion of religious or racial harrassment.

So many layers of wrong in this.

The modern university talks a good game about diversity, but folds like a cheap card table at the first pressure from radical Muslims

What Lawrence has done here is the nothing less than the act of a gutless, spineless, simpering coward.

My late uncle, Marver Bernstein, served as the university’s president from 1972 to 1983. I know Marver would have been appalled beyond belief at his shameful successor’s monstrous capitulation to the screaming voices of unreason. As should we all be.
