If any of your FHer acquaintances ever try to cite Norway as an example of a robust, debt-free welfare state, remind them of these facts

Remind them of the considerable demographic differences between that nation and the US, but most importantly, the way Norway drills, baby, drills.

  1. So suit up and show up to defend Israel and their universal health care. Or you can defend most countries in Africa who don't have it. Freedom lovers like us, right?

Too bad the BP spill occurred as it has certainly caused many to become more cautious about drill, baby, drilling on our shores here. Of course you call the cautious freedom haters like you found them to blame for the financial crisis back in '08 and resist reforms on that basis. Keep on bitching, of course of that there is no lack from your camp.

  2. They aren't cautious. They hate prosperity and societal advancement.

The roots of the financial crisis are to be found in a zeal for putting people in houses they couldn't afford. Fannie mae saw it as a gravy train to ride, as did a lot of poorly managed investment banks.

Israel is having serious problems with its universal health care.

  3. Can you link me to your sources on Israel's disaffection with universal health care? Hurry and pass the word on to The ChiComs and all of Africa not to tread there either. And, of course, to drill, baby drill!

  4. Yes, yes, on both counts. Warn other countries considering socialist health care to turn back before it;s too late, and, as always, drill for that great civilization-builder, oil.

  5. I wasn't talking about something vague and subjective like "disaffection." I was talking hard numbers. Deficit numbers.
