There is nothing to call it but freedom-hatred

For one thing, this makes the MEC's third Polish offence this week.  Tells Poland that sending Lech Walesa to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom in the memory of Jan Karsi is 86ed because Walesa in "too political."

The levels on which this is disgusting are myriad. Especially, as the linked piece points out, when another recipient of this year's medal was the Marxist Dolores Huerta.

There is no doubt what the MEC is about now.

He has to go if America is to rally from flatline status.

  1. I must say I think the stink over O's reference to Polish death camps is way overblown by you types panting for a return to your particular brand of diplomacy. Everybody should (but sadly doesn't) know that it was the Germans who ran them. They were situated in Poland. Duh! Oh well, you guys will keep screaming, regardless.

  2. Then why has such a huge portion of the Polish population taken such offense?
And, by the way, where do you stand on the particular focus of this post - the MEC's position that Lech Walesa is "too political" to receive karsi's award? For that matter, where do you stand on Dolores Huerta getting the same award?
