When the MEC does something right, it's right to acknowledge it

Sending 100 advisory-capacity troops to Uganda to help fight the Lord's Resistance Army is a good move.

  1. Most of the mouths that roar I heard Friday hate this move because he did not consult Congress. Ever listen to Mark Levine? He really roars! And of course he hates Obama.

  2. Levin is great. Not consulting Congress could be a downside to this. For that matter, I hope the MEC is consulting some actual Africa policy experts. Small groups of advisory-capacity troops can turn into sticky wickets and even bags of snakes.
