I suppose his op-ed in the Los Angeles Times this morning was a kind of kickoff document for his "violent extremism" summit. What I do know is that it is chilling in its disconnect from the world in which post-America is situated.
He doubles down on Marie Harf's assertion, talking about "justice and corruption" and "legitimate grievances" and "economic educational and entrepreneurial development."
Seriously.
And, along the lines of bringing up the Crusades, the Inquisition and Jim Crow a couple of weeks ago, he brought up the Chapel Hill shootings, making it sound like the public was completely in the dark about a cause, when a parking dispute was identified as a major factor early on, as was the shooter's atheism and leftism. He wrapped up that portion of his remarks by saying that "Many Muslim Americans are worried and afraid."
This guy is leading post America to Hell.
