The Most Equal Comrade insults the troops he commands

He not only goes the "Kaepernick-has-the-Constitutional-right" route, but gets into some kind of crud about how they have a cultural filter that makes it hard to really hear this noble young man:

"The meaning that that holds for our men and women in uniform, and those who fought for us, that is a tough thing for them to get past to then hear what his deeper concerns are," said Obama. "If nothing else, what he's done is he's generated more conversation around topics that need to be talked about."

Right up there with cops "act[ing] stupidly."
