Sweet indeed

Senate FHers cave and allow an insistence on the Keystone XL pipeline to be included in the payroll tax cut extension bill.

Now, sign it, Most Equal Comrade.

  3. To not give the go-ahead to Keystone XL would be to knowingly sit on an oil supply that will last us decades, as well as to take a pass on 20,000-plus jobs.

  4. Yes, but they are completely separate issues. Frankly I wonder how they can maintain the payroll tax cut when OASI is in trouble. One of these bones they throw the masses. A huge percentage of the populace disaproves of Congress and your Pub newbies on the Hill have only made it worse.

  5. Well, of course, as all principled, well-informed Americans know, the real solution to all these problems (high cost of energy, high cost of health care, man-hours spent on compliance with government doo-dah, unemployment, housing prices, debt and deficit levels, urban blight) is what it has always been: dismantle all government departments and agencies whose reasons for being fall outside the Constitution's view of what federal government exists for, simplify the tax code and lower the tax rate, and put an immediate stop to the subsidization of weirdo stuff that pseudo-scientists want us to think is worth our attention.
