Yet more layers to the Khizr Khan situation

 . . . and each layer seems to get a particular agenda-driven faction riled up.

Now it seems possible that enthusiasts of sharia were keen on getting him behind the podium at the Freedom-Hater convention to catalyze this cycle of cacophony:

According to Theodore Shoebat and Walid Shoebat, Mr. Khizr Muazzam Khan is a promoter of Islamic sharia law and a co-founder of the Journal of Contemporary Issues in Muslim Law (sharia).  In fact, in the past, Khizr Khan has shown "his appreciation for an icon of the Muslim Brotherhood" by the name of Said Ramadan, who "wrote material for the Muslim Youth Movement of Malaysia, an organization that has been promoting Islamic revivalism and indoctrination to recruit young people in Malaysia to jihadism."  Mr. Said Ramadan was the son-in-law of Hassan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood including Ahmad Bahefzallah, the boss of Huma Abedin (Hillary Clinton's aide)[.]"

Should this connection give us pause?

Shoebat writes that "Khizr Khan currently runs a law firm in New York called KM Khan Law Office, a firm that specializes in 'immigration services.'" 

According to Shoebat, "[t]o understand the inception of Muslim immigration one must study the Muslim Minority Affairs, a paradigm created by Saudi jurisprudence which sparked during the times Khan lived in Saudi Arabia while collaborating with the Saudi kingdom. It is likely that Khan is a Muslim plant working with the Hillary Clinton campaign, probably for the interest of Muslim oil companies as well as Muslim immigration into the U.S."

Khizr M. Khan used to work for Hogan & Hartson and Lovells, which has ties to the Clinton Foundation.  Accordingly, "Hogan Lovells LLP, another U.S. firm hired by the Saudis, is registered to work for the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia through 2016, disclosures show. Robert Kyle, a lobbyist from the firm, has bundled $50,850 for Clinton’s campaign."

In fact, Shoebat relates how "[m]any lawyers at Hogan Lovells remember the week in 2004 when U.S. Army Capt. Humayun Khan lost his life to a suicide bomber. Then-Hogan & Hartson attorneys mourned the death because the soldier’s father, Khizr Khan, a Muslim American immigrant, was among their beloved colleagues."

Shoebat emphasizes that "Saudi interests with using Khan to advance Muslim immigration and advance Muslim Sharia is a lengthy subject [.]"  "Then there are the ... ties to Hillary Clinton’s aide Huma Abedin as well.  The House of Saud had used Huma’s father Sayed Zaynul Abedin’s work regarding the Muslim Minority Affairs in the West, published in 1998 as part of 29 works to construct a plan to conquer the U.S. with Islam."

Shoebat maintains that "[i]t is obvious that Khan is upset, that a Trump victory will eliminate and destroy decades of hard work to bring in Islamic immigration into the United States which was spearheaded by agents in Saudi Arabia like Khan and Huma Abedin’s father (Sayed Z. Abedin)."

Huma Abedin has never been properly vetted, and this takes on even greater urgency now that Clinton is running for the presidency.  The mainstream media continues to cover up the Muslim Brotherhood's enormous clout in the Obama administration.  Each day brings new revelations about the financial influence and "access" the Saudis have exerted on the Clinton team.  Patrick Poole, a national security analyst, asserts that "[t]here are massive conflicts of interest. It's beyond comprehension."   

Even if these connections pan out, Squirrel-Hair's initial response to Khan's speech was worthy of the condemnation it's received from the VFW, John McCain and others. If S-H had been aware of this backstory of fishiness at the time, he'd have played it for all it was worth. That's how he rolls.  But, no, he just rambles from speculation about Mrs. Khan's silence to equating "building great structures" with the sacrifice of dying for your country in combat.

And thus does a distracting convention sideshow become a multilayered focal point of post-American political discourse.

The continent that spawned Western civilization has become a sewer of radical Islam.

Here's the latest from France:

A gang of Muslims hurled a Molotov cocktail at a Kosher restaurant in Paris.
The Muslims first entered the restaurant and threatened the diners calling them “dirty Jews.”
Israel National News reported, via Religion of Peace:

A firebomb was thrown at a kosher Jewish restaurant in the 17th district of Paris at week’s end.

Several minutes earlier, some young Muslims who walked by the restaurant threatened the diners inside and called them “dirty Jews.” The diners did not react.

A few minutes passed, and a loud smash was heard when a firebomb hit the restaurant’s door. The diners managed to see a group of Muslims running away as the firebomb ignited, starting a fire, which the restaurant’s employees succeeded in putting out. None of the restaurant-goers was hurt.

And at PJ Media, Robert Spencer lists the ten latest signs that the conquest of the UK continues apace.  It includes such examples as yet more young Britons joining ISIS, Prince Charles imploring Muslim leaders to get their faithful to "respect other religions," and this little bit of totalitarianism employed in the service of surrender to jihad:

 Home Secretary Theresa May has announced new “Extremism Disruption Orders,” which would empower the British government to prevent people from broadcasting, holding public rallies, or even posting on Facebook and Twitter if they promoted “extremism.” Chancellor George Osborne emphasized that the new orders were designed to “eliminate extremism in all its forms” – including the justification of “hatred” against a particular religion.

Critics of the proposal have pointed out that this would criminalize criticism of Sharia, even in its most oppressive aspects – the stonings, amputations, and denial of equal rights to women and non-Muslims.

and this bit of patty-cake:

William Hague, the Conservative leader of the House of Commons, announced that his government was ready to aid British jihadis returning from the Islamic State if they had “good intentions.” Some of the returning jihadis, Hague said compassionately, will “just need help because they will have been through an extremely traumatic period.”

But the Sudanese Christian physician who had her second child while incarceration and had been sentenced to be flogged 100 times and then hanged is still in some kind of safe house in Sudan.  It's important to get her, her husband and the kids America-bound pronto.  There are lots of threats to her safety, including a half-brother who threatens to kill her if he gets the chance.

A welcome move, but why did it take them so long?

Lots of lefty entertainment and corporate-executive types, such as Ellen DeGeneres and Richard Branson, are pulling events they'd booked out of the Beverly Hills Hotel, owned by the Sultan of Brunei, since said Sultan announced the imposition of sharia law in his country.

The same question arises as in the case of all these lefties getting on board with outrage over Boko Haram's kidnapping of the Nigerian schoolgirls.  It's nice to hold up hashtag-bring-our-girls-back signs, but then you can't, unless you're untethered from reality, adopt the war-is-so-icky-all-we-need-is-grassroots-interactions-of-people-from-different-cultures-Bush-took-a-blunt-instrument-to-the-delicate-task-of-coexisting position.

Come on over to the side of hard reality, folks.  You're just about there.  Go ahead and acknowledge that the West in is a twilight struggle against jihadists who want to enslave the women among us and murder the men in their beds.

The truth can sting at first, but it's always an advantageous basis from which to proceed.
