Anzalone sent Podesta an email that consisted of a quote from Sen. Mark Kirk contained in a BuzzFeed article about the Iran deal. Analone also included a link to the article. In the quoted portion of the article, Kirk said that the Iran deal “condemns the next generation to cleaning up a nuclear war in the Persian Gulf.” Kirk added: “This is the greatest appeasement since Chamberlain gave Czechoslovakia to Hitler.”Podesta responded to this email by saying: “Yup.”
